Pre-requisites to use Address Validation for Dataverse

To use the Address Validation for Power Apps, there are two important requirements:

▪ Power Platform / Dynamics 365 requirements

▪ Power Platform or Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Online - Version 9.1 and above *

▪ Compatible with Power Platform Model Driven application, Dynamics 365 for Sales, Customer Service, Field Service and Marketing.

▪ Dynamics CRM On Premise - Version 8.2 and above

▪ Sharp XRM Address Validation uses the Bing Maps, Google Maps, Azure Maps, Canada Post Autocomplete or Melissa APIs to validate, confirm, standardize, and augment address data from Dynamics 365 and Power Apps. You must have a valid Address Verification Service API Key to perform address validation.

* While the application might work on a Dynamics 365 on-premise installation, it is not supported by Sharp XRM. We do not test it nor do we provide fixes specific for it.

** Note for the Google Maps API: You must configure your key to allow the services used by Address Validation for Power Apps in the Google Cloud Platform: Geocoding, Maps JavaScript and Places.
