Address Validation for Dataverse includes a redesigned, modern layout for two administration forms: Product Licence and API Configuration. The new layout is available as a preview tab on each form. The existing tabs are unchanged and remain fully supported; you can use either.
Product Licence (New UX)
Open your license record from Licencing > Product Licence and select the License (New UX) tab.
- Only the fields that apply to the license's status and type can be edited. For example, a new trial asks for your company and contact details, and a new purchased license asks for the product key, company name and contact email. Active and expired licenses are read-only.
- Your licensed features are shown as tags.
- The Validate license, Update license and Unregister license buttons are available directly on the page and appear only when they apply. Buttons that need a saved record explain why they are disabled.
API Configuration (New UX preview)
Open an API Configuration record from Settings > API Configuration and select the New UX (preview) tab.
- Address providers are shown as tiles, sorted alphabetically. Only the providers included in your license are offered. A provider that is already selected but no longer licensed stays visible and is marked Not licensed.
- Only the fields that apply to the selected provider are shown.
- For Melissa, the packages included in your Melissa key are shown read-only.
- Validate API Key and Create Sample Configurations are available directly on the page. Validate API Key saves any pending changes first.
- Changes made on the tab are saved with the rest of the form.
